Australia’s Chief Medical Officer states defeating coronavirus needs that people “permanently” alter how they connect with each other– a minimum of for the foreseeable future.

- Dr Brendan Murphy said people need to make irreversible modifications up until coronavirus is defeated
- Australia would remain in a strong position to relieve limitations after a fortnight without any brand-new cases
- Intelligence agencies will not be allowed to gain access to details of users from the COVIDSafe app
