Spain records lowest everyday death toll in a month

Spanish kids under the age of 14 are now permitted outside one hour per day.

Spain, which has been among the countries worst struck in the coronavirus pandemic, has reported its most affordable day-to-day death toll in more than a month.

Its health ministry said previously that 288 more people had died of the infection, the lowest number because 20 March.

The figure is a steep drop from the 378 deaths taped on Saturday.

On Sunday, kids under the age of 14 were permitted to leave their homes for the very first time in 6 weeks. They are now enabled outside for one hour a day.

The health ministry stated the overall variety of casualties now stood at 23,190

Fernando Simon, director of the Spanish Health Alert and Emergency Situation Co-ordination Centre, stated: “For the very first time in a long time, we are below 300.

” Although it might be hard to give these data, it’s a figure which suggests a clear, favorable instructions in the evolution of the epidemic.”

What has altered for Spanish children?

The brand-new lockdown conditions permit Spain’s 6.3 million under-14 s to leave their houses each day for a total of one hour between 09: 00 and 21: 00, however without going further than one kilometre (0.6 mile).

Those over 13 are permitted to perform errands for their parents, as has been the case throughout the lockdow
