The New ‘Tenet’ Trailer Dropped in ‘Fortnite’

Greetings friends, and welcome to another edition of The Monitor, WIRED’s entertainment news roundup. In this special Memorial Day edition, we have a new Tenet trailer, Tyler Perry’s “Camp Quarantine” (no, that’s not a new TV show), and some good news. Let’s get going.

The New Tenet Trailer Dropped in Fortnite

In case you haven’t noticed, a lot of movie theaters aren’t open right now. But just because Covid-19 is keeping people safely out of multiplexes doesn’t mean studios don’t have coming attractions to show. To wit, Warner Bros. released its latest trailer for Tenet in Fortnite.

The clip for Christopher Nolan’s latest, an espionage thriller for which the director has revealed very few details, played in Epic Games’ virtual world several times last Thursday, accompanied by an interview between Geoff Keighley and the film’s star John David Washington. The movie is slated to hit theaters on July 17 and will reportedly screen in Fortnite sometime this summer as well.
