Premier Mark McGowan has revealed “serious issues” for the spread of coronavirus in WA’s remote Kimberley region as he imposed new travel limitations within the region that surpass difficult procedures currently enforced throughout the rest of the state.
Bottom line:
- Shire borders in the Kimberley will close at midnight
- The difficult travel restrictions are targeted at securing Aboriginal neighborhoods
- Six local COVID-19 cases emerged over night, consisting of five health employees
