( Reuters) – President Donald Trump’s re-election project launched an enormous, multi-million dollar advertisement blitz versus presumptive Democratic governmental candidate Joe Biden on Thursday, its biggest attack against Biden given that the coronavirus pandemic struck the United States.

With Biden’s project starting its own offensive against Trump– firmly insisting November’s election need to be a referendum on the Republican president’s handling of the coronavirus crisis– the Trump team has decided to turn its sights on Biden’s own record.
The president’s campaign will spend a minimum of $10 million on across the country advertisements that will air on TELEVISION networks, broadcast outlets and online, according to an assistant who spoke on the condition of anonymity.
