Liquid Petroleum Gas (LPG) cylinders can be “extremely dangerous” if not used or stored properly according to FRNSW.
They should never be used indoors or in a confined space or when it’s windy.
“Do not connect or disconnect cylinders in the vicinity of a naked flame,” FRNSW said.
“Shut off the cylinder valve before disconnecting the bottle from the BBQ.”
If you think you smell the strong scent of gas, call triple-0 immediately.
