U.S. House backs extension of surveillance program FISA

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – The U.S. House of Representatives approved legislation on Wednesday to extend a divisive set of federal government surveillance tools, a major increase for efforts to reauthorize the program prior to it ends on Sunday.
