( Reuters) – The United States on Tuesday sued previous nationwide security adviser John Bolton, looking for to obstruct him from releasing a book about his time in the White Home that it said contained classified info and would jeopardize nationwide security.
The civil claim came one day after U.S. President Donald Trump said Bolton would be breaking the law if the book were released.
The White Home National Security Council (NSC) “has identified that the manuscript in its present type includes certain passages – some up to numerous paragraphs in length – that contain classified national security information,” the suit said.
