Australia fight to stay on serve Team Australia have a crucial hold to go 2-1 up with Poland on serve.

It was getting a bit hairy there, with the game going to a deciding point, but the home side were able to get the job done.

In the game earlier, Australia had three break point opportunities, but weren’t able to capitalise on any of them.

An early break would have been a dream for the home side.

Here’s what he had to say after the match.

“Nights like these, these are just the best. I love playing here, I love playing in front of you guys. The atmosphere from the very first point to the last was amazing and thank you from the bottom of my heart,” he said.

Hukacz had him under the pump, especially on serve, but the Demon kept fighting back into the match.

“He’s [Hurkacz] an incredible talent and I’m just so happy to see him back on tour because he’s a very dangerous player. I’m not happy playing him, but I’m happy he’s back. I’m sure he’s going to do a lot of damage and I’m glad to see him healthy.

“But for me, I just had to fight him off from the first to the last. A huge mental effort, and we’re still alive.”
