United States targets Huawei with tighter chip export guidelines

The US has actually announced brand-new export controls focused on restricting Chinese technology giant Huawei’s access to semiconductor innovation.

The new guideline bars semiconductor-makers that use United States innovation and software in chip style from delivering to Huawei without US government consent.

It is the current US action to target Huawei, which United States authorities view as a national security risk.

China threatened to strike back versus United States tech companies.

The tightened controls come a year after the United States transferred to cut off Huawei, the world’s second largest mobile phone maker, from access to US-made semiconductor chips, which form the foundation of many computer system and phone systems.
