The Chinese mobile phone company Vivo has actually unveiled its new APEX 2020 5G concept smartphone. It’s a device that includes a number of intriguing photography-related functions, including what the business calls a “gimbal-stabilizing electronic camera.”
The back of the phone features a reasonably thin dual-camera setup. The first is a 16- megapixel periscopic cam that features an optical zoom series of 5x to 7.5 x.
On the bottom of the module is a 48- megapixel “Gimbal Video camera.” Vivo states it managed to embed a small “gimbal-like structure” into the main wide-angle electronic camera, offering two times the stabilization as traditional optical image stabilization systems.
