MADISON, Wis.– After dealing with the patient with the 3rd verified case of COVID-19 in Wisconsin, SSM Health is crediting advance notification and a seclusion procedure with limiting the virus’s spread.
According to the health system, over the past weekend a client who had been taking a trip within the country and was experiencing coronavirus-like signs called the nursing hotline. Personnel directed the client to the nearest Dean Medical Group Urgent Care site, which is not being disclosed.
