At a time when physician are putting their lives at danger, tens of countless doctors in the United States are taking big pay cuts.

And even as some parts of the United States are talking of desperate lacks in nursing personnel, elsewhere in the country lots of nurses are being informed to remain at home without pay.

That is due to the fact that American health care companies are looking to cut expenses as they have a hard time to create profits throughout the coronavirus crisis.

” Nurses are being called heroes,” Mariya Buxton says, clearly upset. “However I simply really do not seem like a hero today because I’m refraining from doing my part.”

Ms Buxton is a paediatric nurse in St Paul, Minnesota, but has been asked to remain at house.

At the system at which Ms Buxton worked, and at health centers throughout the majority of the country, medical procedures that are not considered to be immediate have been stopped. That has actually suggested a huge loss of income.

” People would always state to me, being a nurse you’ll never have to worry about having a job.

Although she is helpful of the steps taken to suppress the spread of the virus, Ms Buxton frets that the longer healthcare facilities can not carry out regular medical treatments, the more nurses that will find themselves in the same position as her.

” I was set up to work 120 hours for the month of April.
