“Indian growth will likely outpace growth in most other major economies by a good margin. There are few themes that will determine Indian market in the coming years,” says Ashutosh Bhargava, Fund Manager, and Head Equity Research, Nippon India Mutual Fund.

Both Sensex and Nifty50 have recouped losses and are now up over a percent so far in 2022. Sensex is now approaching 60000 while Nifty50 is trading above 17000 – do you think a fresh high is possible in 2022?
Fresh highs are less than 4% away while we have more than 4 months to go in 2022 so a fresh high is possible.
Other way to look at the market is that Nifty50 or the S&P BSE Sensex is up merely 8 per cent on a YoY basis and have undergone reasonable time correction within a narrow range.
