A woman claims she found out her boyfriend was cheating on her – with seven other women – after an unusual sign from her body over two years.

After reading online that UTIs can be caused by cheating partners, red flags appeared for the young woman.

Days later, her fears were confirmed – when she spotted a text on her boyfriend’s phone from another woman.

“He had a message from a girl named Anna and her contact specific was set to do not disturb – the message preview said ‘I love you too’,” Tori told NeedToKnow.online.

“I clicked on the message and that’s when I saw them.

“He had been sending her messages that read, ‘I’m in love with you’, ‘The girl I’m with is just here keeping me company’.

“There were just all of these hateful messages about how I didn’t mean anything at all to him, sent with the timestamp of me cuddled up sleeping, thinking I was safe in his arms.”

ConfrontationTori immediately confronted her boyfriend.

“When I found out, I felt like the most heart-wrenching hit came over my body,” she said.

“I just kept thinking, what did all of it mean, how could he do this? Was I not good enough, what could I do different?

“I woke him up angry and told him plain and simple to take me home.

“He begged and pleaded to talk about it, he even got on his hands and knees for me not to go and (not) to break up with him.”

Tori spent the next few days thinking about what to do.

She decided to give him a second chance.

But things soon took a turn for the worse.

She would often find herself questioning whether she was being cheated on again, or if it was due to something else.

In March 2022, she ditched her partner for good, claiming to have discovered he had cheated on her – with a total of seven women.

“I looked through his phone one day because I had a suspicion, I had a gut feeling he wasn’t being truthful and I was right,” she said.

“He had messages, pictures, videos, etc from women he had intercourse with while he was on ‘work weekends’.

“I was upset and hurt. I blamed myself afterwards until I realised that it wasn’t my fault.

‘My boyfriend cheated on me with SEVEN other women – I found out after THIS change to my own BODY,’ woman, 19, reveals how lying ex got caught.

A woman claims she found out her boyfriend was cheating on her with seven other women after an unusual sign from her body over two years.

Tori McFarlin, 19, from Arkansas, US, had only been dating her boyfriend for a month when she started suffering from urinary tract infections, which raised suspicions.

After reading online that UTIs can be caused by cheating partners, red flags appeared for the young woman.

After reading the messages, Tori immediately went to her boyfriend and questioned him about the suspicious texts.

She said: “When I found out I felt like the most heart-wrenching hit came over my body.

Tori says she was “depressed” following the painful break up.

“I didn’t leave my bed, didn’t brush my hair, I (was) a complete mess. I cried every day for hours,” she said.

“One piece of advice I would give to anyone who has been cheated on is to keep your standards high and your expectations low.

“Do what’s best for you. Don’t ever feel guilty for what damage someone else has done to you.”

Happy relationshipDespite being heartbroken and determined to focus purely on her wellbeing, about two-and-a-half months later fate stepped in when Tori met the “man of her dreams”.

The pair has now been together for seven months.

“After around two months on Tinder, I got a message from a guy who lived 30 minutes away from me and he asked if we could hang out,” she said.

“It’s been seven months for a man that worships the ground I walk on (and) treats me like royalty constantly.

“I’m in the process of buying my first home, I have two of the best dogs in the world and most importantly I am finally in a happy and healthy relationship.”

Can you get a UTI from a cheating partner? We asked Dr Sarah Welsh, an expert in gynaecology, if there is a link between UTIs and unfaithful partners.

While she explains that UTIs are common among women, and can mimic symptoms of sexually transmitted infections (STIs), they do not “mean that your partner is cheating on you”.

“Urinary tract infections and cystitis are very common in women, due to the anatomy of women,” she said.

“The urethra is much shorter in women in comparison to men, so it’s easier for bacteria to travel from the outside into our bodies and cause irritation and infection.

“This pushes bacteria into the bladder, which can be the start of a urinary tract infection.”

Dr Welsh says some women may get cystitis or a UTI after having sex with a new partner, or one partner in particular, “due to the anatomy of the couple, as well as being exposed to new bacteria”.

“Getting an UTI after sex does not mean your partner has been cheating on you,” she said.

“However, some sexually transmitted infections can cause symptoms similar to UTIs.

“If in doubt, see your GP or sexual health clinic for a check-up.”
