An Australian woman whose death in Bali sparked an outpouring of grief had been living her dream by quitting her job to move to the idyllic destination.
Gold Coast woman Olyvia Cowley is being remembered as a beloved daughter, sister and friend after her unexpected death in Bali on August 19.

Her distraught mother Christina Blakelock took to social media to share her heartbreak, saying “my heart doesn’t know what to do”.
“My Twinkle. My baby. My Angel. I’ll miss you forever. What a smile, you are someone who lights up the world,” she wrote.
“My love for you is beyond anything you’ll ever understand.”
In another touching tribute, Blakelock said there was nothing else she had wanted more than to be a mum.

“You’re my air, my baby girl,” she wrote.
“Mummy is coming home with your sister soon.”
Also paying tribute, Hope Cowley said her sister had “shone a light on this earth”.
“You left so many footprints on this earth, my darling sister,” she said on Instagram.
“I feel you always. See you soon my baby girl.”

It is a reference to the family’s efforts to bring Cowley’s body home, with a GoFundMe appeal launched.
“The family are currently planning to bring Liv home to the Gold Coast,” organiser Shae Barr wrote.
“To ease the financial pressure on the family moving forward I am asking for any donations if you are in a position to give.
“We all know how much of an impact it can make when a community comes together.”
The crowdfunding campaign has raised more than $10,000, with a target of $15,000.
‘Doesn’t seem real’ Social media posts revealed Cowley had described her decision to move to Bali as “everything you ever prayed for”.
It has not been revealed how the 24-year-old lost her life.
Blakelock and her husband Tony have travelled to Bali.
She said on Facebook on Thursday night that she will attend a mass with “some amazing people here who have helped us through our most tough time ever”.

“It doesn’t seem real,” she said.
“Our angel has grown her wings and my heart is broken. The kindest soul.
“You had so much love to give and I can’t thank you enough for being my shining light in my darkest of days and I wish I could have been there for you in yours.
“Thank you for the laughs and memories over the many years. Until we meet again, my darling Liv.”
