G. Eknath Reddy, a grandson of prominent candy store owner and educationist unhurried G Pulla Reddy, became once booked by Punjagutta police on Friday evening on charges of domestic violence.
His other folks G. Raghava Reddy and Bharati Reddy, and sister G Srividya Reddy were also booked for allegedly harassing his valuable other K Pragnya Reddy and anxious extra dowry. The household allegedly confined Ms. Pragnya and her seven-and-half of-Twelve months-aged daughter of their home at Begumpet without providing food and water. Then yet again, she managed to call the Punjagutta police and lodged a telephonic criticism. Later, her father reached Hyderabad from Bengaluru and rescued the mummy-daughter duo.
In her criticism, the victim told the police that she became once married to Eknath Reddy in March 2014 at a well-known person hotel in Bengaluru and her other folks gave a dowry of ₹ 75 lakh in cash, apart from gold jewellery and silver articles worth bigger than ₹ 55 lakh.
