Chennai: The All-Ladies Police Dwelling (AWPS), Madhavaram, has booked a 22-yr-extinct man and his fogeys in Puzhal right here for solemnising his wedding with a 14-yr–extinct lady in the equivalent residence.

The FIR is under Fragment 9 (an adult male who solemnises a toddler marriage is punishable for two-yr rigorous imprisonment or swish as much as Rs.1 lakh, or both) and Fragment 10 (someone who performs, conducts, directs, or abets any child marriage is punishable with rigorous imprisonment for two years along with a swish as much as Rs.1 lakh) of the Prohibition of Diminutive one Marriage Act 2006 and Fragment 6 (sexual assault, punishable for a minimal timeframe of 10 years) of the Protection of Diminutive one from Sexual Offence (Pocso) Act-2012.
Nevertheless, no arrest has been made in the incident.
