In a unexpected style, Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel on Saturday stripped cupboard ministers Rajendra Trivedi and Purnesh Modi of their portfolios. This comes factual months before the bid Assembly elections, scheduled for later this year.
Rajendra Trivedi and Purnesh Modi have been divested of their Income and the Avenue and Constructing portfolios, respectively.
Minister of Snort for Home Harsh Sanghavi has been given the further accountability of Income while Minister of Snort for Industries and Wooded arena and Atmosphere, Jagdish Panchal has been given accountability for the Avenue and Constructing department.
Currently, Rajendra Trivedi holds the ministries of Catastrophe Administration, Law and Justice, Legislative and Parliamentary Affairs, while Purnesh Modi holds Transport, Civil Aviation, Tourism and Pilgrimage Development.
Formally it’s being acknowledged that the decision has been taken to within the reduction of the workload on the 2 ministers by lowering the departments, sources acknowledged.
