The BJP has convened a gathering of its leaders in Jammy on Monday to chalk out a “counter-device” in opposition to the meeting called by the Nationwide Conference over the direct of “inclusion of non-native voters” within the revised electoral rolls in Jammu and Kashmir.
J&Okay BJP president Ravinder Raina has called the meeting of senior leaders at the birthday celebration headquarters, a celebration spokesperson acknowledged.
He acknowledged the meeting is being held to chalk out a “counter-device” in opposition to the “all- birthday celebration” meeting called by Nationwide Conference president Farooq Abdullah in Srinagar over the direct of inclusion of non-native voters within the revised electoral rolls within the Union Territory.

The NC president had called the meeting after remarks linked to the addition of voters within the revised rolls by the UT’s Chief Electoral Officer Hirdesh Kumar raised hackles of the regional parties.
Authorities clarifies
The authorities on Saturday had issued a clarification, announcing the experiences of a most likely addition of over 25 lakh voters after the abstract revision of electoral rolls is a “misrepresentation of facts by vested interests”.
