EXO’s Xiumin go back to star in his very first drama Sajangdol Mart in 7 years

South Korean pop group EXO’s member Xiumin is apparently going back to star in a brand-new drama entitled Sajangdol Mart ( romanized title). In reaction to reports of Xiumin’s casting in the drama, SM Entertainment validated, “Xiumin will be leading the brand-new drama ‘Sajangdol Mart.'”

According to Korean media website Soompi, Sajangdol Mart is a drama that portrays the different stories that unfold as previous idol group members congregate to run a grocery store.

The drama will be helmed by producing director (PD) Lee Yoo Yeon and the broadcasting schedule has yet to be validated. Xiumin initially made his drama launching in 2015 by starring in Falling for Challenge followed by the movie Seondal: The Man Who Sells the River

Recently, Xiumin likewise revealed the upcoming release of his solo launching album Brand New on September26 The release will make him the seventh member of nine-piece pop band EXO to go solo, following the steps of bandmates Baekhyun, Chen, Suho, Lay, Kai and D.O in doing so.
