Doris Stidham Little Doris Stidham Little died quietly Friday night, Oct. 14, at Manor Lake Memory Care in Dawsonville, Georgia. She was born upon May 24, 1928 to Luther and Olene Presnell Reeves in Luthersville, Georgia; their 2nd kid and the very first child in a big household of 13 kids. On April 5th, 1949, she wed Regie James Stidham, Jr., the daddy of her 3 kids. After Regie’s death in 2001, Doris wed Homer Little in2002 He passed away in2021 In addition to her moms and dads, she was preceded in death by sis Sonya Spake, Ima Knowles, Hazel Walker, Zeral Lewis and bros, Bill Reeves, James Reeves, and Tyre Reeves. Doris is made it through by her kids, Regie A. (Pamela) Stidham, Susan Stidham (Bruno) Zimmermann, and Jeanni Stidham (Phil) Walters, her 2 grandchildren: John E. (Amber) Stidham and Kristin Stidham (Pete) Davenport and 4 terrific grandchildren: Grace, Joel, Wendell and Josephine Davenport. Making it through brother or sisters: Douglas Reeves, Janice Newlin, Karen Walls, Jenean Wilson and Pam Crowe together with many nieces and nephews. Doris was a dedicated child, better half, and mom. With unwavering faith, she devoted her life to her Lord, prayer, bible research study and taking care of others. She was a club member and life-long fan of Ash Street Baptist Church in Forest Park, Georgia, where she consistently taught Sunday School classes for over 60 years. A passionate garden enthusiast and fantastic southern cook (who might forget her fried chicken!). A funeral service will be held at 3: 00 PM on Saturday, October 22, 2022, at the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Peachtree City. The household will get buddies from 1: 00 PM– 3: 00 PM prior to the service at the funeral house. Interment will follow the service at Westminster Memorial Gardens, Peachtree City.
