Ken Roczen was anticipated to romp to the title in the brand-new FIM World Supercross Championship, however although he did win the title, it was not without drama. With wild card and round one winner Eli Tomac not completing, Roczen got in the ending as the WSX (450 cc) points leader. In the 2nd race (of 3), Roczen suffered a blowout that dropped him to 3rd in the champion standings behind colleagues Vince Friese and Justin Brayton. With the champion up for grabs in between the 3, Friese tried to interrupt Brayton off the start of the last race of the night. Friese wound up securing both Brayton and himself, which permitted Roczen to leave and ultimately take the champion. Brayton, normally not one for debate, let loose in a post-race interview later on, revealing his aggravation with his colleague, which increased much more when the veteran heard first-hand that Friese had actually provided cash to a rival (ClubMx’s Grant Harlan) if they got Brayton. Harlan decreased the deal. Ahead of all the turmoil was Joey Savatgy, who went back to the location where he suffered a considerable recover injury in fall 2019, and took the general win. Jason Weigandt wraps up whatever that occurred at the ending in this Fly Racing Racer X Rapid News video.
