Previous stockbroker Simon Kidston – now of Queensland renewables group Genex Power Ltd popularity – is set to chairman’s seat at ASX-listed copper and gold explorer QMines Ltd.
Kidston will take over from Andrew Sparke, his previous coworker at Helmsec Global, who’s been driving QMines as executive chairman recently. Sparke will transfer to the handling director’s function.
It’s an excellent choice up for QMines, with Kidston adept when it pertains to establishing and moneying tasks in Queensland consisting of in neighborhoods near the explorer’s flagship Mt Chalmers copper deposit.
It comes as QMines runs pre-feasibility works at Mt Chalmers, which is a state-of-the-art historical mine that produced copper, gold and silver in between 1898 and 1982. QMines wishes to get the deposit back into production.
