Turkish President Rajab Tayyab Erdugan told that so far 70 countries and 14 international organizations have come forward to help. He said that this is a big disaster not only for Turkey but for the whole world. Preparations have been made to make 10000 containers a shelter in Turkey.

So far 8300 people have died due to the powerful earthquake in Turkey and Syria on Monday. In Turkey, 5,894 people have lost their lives, while 34,810 people are injured. At the same time, 2100 people have lost their lives in Syria. About 11,000 buildings have been destroyed by the earthquake in Turkey and Syria. 8000 people have been rescued in Turkey. Here more than 55000 rescuers are engaged in rescue.

Historical buildings destroyed in Turkey

Turkey’s historical mosque was also destroyed in the earthquake. This historical Yeni Camii mosque located in Malatya city of Turkey has been turned into ruins. This mosque was more than 100 years old but it has been destroyed by the earthquake. A history of 100 years is attached to it, which is now buried in the rubble.

7.8 magnitude earthquake occurred in Turkey on Monday

There was an earthquake in Turkey at 04:17 am on Monday. Its depth was 17.9 kilometers inside the ground. The epicenter of the earthquake was near Gaziantep. It is located 90 km from the Syria border. In such a situation, strong tremors of earthquake were also felt in many cities of Syria. It is said to be the strongest earthquake in Turkey in 100 years. According to the US Geological Survey, there were 77 aftershocks after the earthquake. One of these tremors was of 7.5 magnitude. While three tremors were more than 6.0 magnitude.
