Sensation due to double murder in posh area of Ara, dead body of retired professor couple found inside the house
Some unknown miscreants brutally murdered the retired professor couple in Arrah’s Katira Mohalla. Injuries have also been found at many places on the bodies of the dead couple. On the other hand, as soon as the information about the double murder was received, Bhojpur’s SP Pramod Kumar Yadav and ASP Himanshu reached the spot with a large number of police forces and started investigating the entire incident.

In Arrah, Bihar, unknown miscreants barged into the house and brutally murdered the retired professor couple and fled from the spot. The incident is from the posh area of the city i.e. Katira locality. After this incident of murder, sensation has spread in the area. Injuries have also been found at many places on the bodies of the dead couple. From which it is being inferred that the accused first attacked his head with something, then killed him with a sharp weapon.
However, it is not yet clear as to what led to the murder of the retired professor couple and who carried out the incident. 70-year-old deceased retired professor Mahendra Singh Veer Kunwar Singh had been the dean of the university. Whereas, his 65-year-old wife Pushpa Singh was a retired professor of psychology at Mahila College.
It is being told that the deceased was originally a resident of Agni village under Nasriganj police station area of Rohtas district and for the past several years the couple lived alone in their house at Katira in Arrah city after retirement. On the other hand, as soon as the information about the double murder was received, Bhojpur’s SP Pramod Kumar Yadav and ASP Himanshu reached the spot with a large number of police forces and started investigating the entire incident. At present, the police have sealed the spot and called a forensic investigation team from Patna and are closely investigating every point of the murder through scientific research.

If Heera Singh, the younger brother of deceased retired professor Mahendra Singh is to be believed, he had come to his house on January 26 to meet his brother. After which today his eldest brother called and told that the mobile of both the people is not working since yesterday. Where on coming here today, it was told by the police that both the people have been brutally murdered inside the house.
