The 76-year-old vocalist thanked fans Monday after performing what might be his last U.K. show Sunday at Glastonbury Festival. “Thank you, Glastonbury! The energy last night resembled absolutely nothing else, and I could not be more grateful to the crowd and individuals viewing in your home for all your love and assistance. You will remain in my body and soul permanently,” John composed on Instagram. “UK, what a goodbye. I enjoy you,” he included. John started his set at the Pyramid Stage at Worthy Farm with “Pinball Wizard.” He carried out “Cold Heart,” “Don’t Go Breaking My Heart,” “Tiny Dancer,” “I’m Still Standing” and other hits prior to concluding the program with “Rocket Man.” The vocalist was signed up with by unique visitors Jacob Lusk, Stephen Sanchez, Rina Sawayama and Brandon Flowers. Over 7 million audiences tuned in to the BBC to view John’s three-hour efficiency. John is finishing up his Farewell Yellow Brick Road trip, which initially introduced in 2018. The vocalist will next carry out a set of programs Tuesday and Wednesday in Paris.
