All workplace bearers of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) will continue in their posts as the governing body is set to hold its Annual General Meeting on September 25 in Goa ahead of the ODI World Cup. The last AGM of the BCCI was kept in October 2022 and an SGM was hung on May 27 this year and the very first point on the program of the upcoming AGM would be to settle the minutes of the conferences.
The program for the upcoming conference includes an overall of 18 points which likewise consists of the visit of the Ombudsman and the Ethics Officer along with settling the preparations for the World Cup, beginning October 5.
On the program is the visit of the BCCI agent in the International Cricket Council (ICC), the visits of the Cricket Committees, Standing Committees, and the Umpires Committee.
The BCCI AGM will likewise have the election and induction of 2 agents of the basic body, in addition to the induction of one agent of the Indian Cricketers’ Association (ICA), in the Governing Council of the IPL.
On the program is the adoption of the treasurer’s report and the audited accounts for the year 2022-23 and the adoption of the yearly spending plan for the year 2023-24.
