A trip of this collection, their uncommon homes, and how they make it through here will be checked out. Permanently Balboa Park uses thematic park trips that concentrate on the park’s special biodiversity and highlight the park’s horticultural marvels on the 2nd Saturday of monthly. Led by park volunteer and horticultural lover Bill Edwards, the complimentary trips leave from the Visitors Center at 10:00 a.m. unless otherwise suggested. Walks last 1.5 to 2 hours and are usually less than 1 mile on level surface. It is encouraged that prospective participants get in touch with the Balboa Park Visitors Center prior to the arranged walk to identify if there are any last-minute modifications or cancellations to the trips.
