‘I will waive your fees…’, Principal molests minor in school room in Kanpur, arrested
The principal of a school in Bilhaur area of Kanpur has been arrested for molesting a minor student. It is alleged that he first called the student into the room and then performed obscene acts with her.

In Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, a principal molested a minor girl student studying in his own school. When the student went home and told about it, the family members came to the school and created a ruckus. After which the principal has been removed from the school management. In this case, on the complaint of the family members, the police have registered an FIR under various sections including POCSO and arrested the accused.
The fees of a 13-year-old girl studying in a private school in Bilhaur area of Kanpur were outstanding for two months. The school principal called her to his office on the pretext of complaining about non-payment of fees and sexually assaulted her. The family members allege that the principal told the girl that after paying the fees early, he would waive her fees. After that they started molesting her. When the scared girl reached home, she told her entire ordeal to her father.

Police arrested the accused principal
After this, when the family members went to the school and protested, the school director immediately expelled the principal, but the parents were not satisfied with this. He said that before investigation should be done which children the principal misbehaved with. After this the family members lodged a report at Bilhaur police station. After this the police has arrested the accused principal. ADCP Brijendra Dwivedi says that the matter of molestation of children by the principal of a school had come to light. After this a report was filed and he was arrested.

Half a dozen such incidents in two months
This is not the first incident of molestation of innocent children in Kanpur. Earlier, a school driver had tried to rape an innocent girl, while a few days before this, a van driver had taken a Navy student to a deserted place and raped her in Rawatpur area. Recently a Maulana had tried to do dirty work with an innocent girl. In the last two months, more than half a dozen such incidents have come to light from different areas of Kanpur.
