Congress releases second list of 9 candidates for Haryana elections, has fielded 41 candidates so far

Congress Party has released the second list of candidates for Haryana Assembly elections. The party has announced 9 candidates in this list. The party has given ticket to Mohit Grover from Gurugram and Vardhan Yadav will contest from Badshahpur. At the same time, with the support of JJP chief and BJP, the party has fielded Birendra Singh’s son Brijendra Singh against Dushyant Chautala, who was the Deputy CM.

The 9 names released in the latest list of Congress include Ashok Arora from Thanesar, Kuldeep Sharma from Ganaur, Brijendra Singh from Uchana Kalan, Paramveer Singh from Tohana, Anirudh Chaudhary from Tosham, Manju Chaudhary from Meham, Vardhan Yadav from Badshahpur and Gurugram. Mohit Grover has been given ticket. The party had earlier announced 32 candidates.

Congress first released the names of 32 candidates

The Congress party had released its first list of 32 candidates for the upcoming Haryana Assembly elections on September 6. The party has fielded former Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda from Garhi Sampla-Kiloi seat. Apart from this, tickets have been given to Surendra Panwar from Sonipat, Jagbir Singh Malik from Gohana and Bharat Bhushan Batra from Rohtak.

Congress chief Uday Bhan will contest the assembly elections from Halod seat. Apart from these, the party will contest elections from Mewa Singh Ladwa. And he will contest against Chief Minister and BJP leader Nayab Saini. Congress has fielded Kuldeep Vata from Badhali seat, Geeta Bhukkal from Jhajjar, Chiranjeev Rao from Rewari, Aftab Ahmed from Nuh and Neeraj Sharma from Faridabad NIT.

Talks going on about alliance between Congress-AAP

Congress and Aam Aadmi Party are also in talks regarding alliance for Haryana Assembly elections. Today itself, state in-charge of Congress Deepak Babaria and Aam Aadmi Party’s Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha had met. After this meeting, both the leaders have said that the alliance will be finalized soon. However, while talking to the media, Deepak Babaria said that the talks on alliance will be decided in the next two days, and it is possible that changes can also be made in the list of candidates.

BJP released names of 67 candidates

​BJP has announced 67 candidates for the Haryana Assembly elections to be held on October 5. Prominent candidates include Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, who will contest from Ladwa seat, and former state president Om Prakash Dhankhar will contest from Badli.
