A whole generation of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip would “be rejected the right to education” if the United Nations Palestinian relief company UNRWA collapses in the enclave under brand-new Israeli legislation, the head of UNRWA alerted on Wednesday.
Israel’s parliament passed a law last month that will prohibit UNRWA from running in the nation when it works in late January. UNRWA Commissioner-General Philippe Lazzarini stated its application “will have disastrous effects.”
