Kartik Purnima worship method
On the day of Kartik Purnima, wake up in the morning during Brahma Muhurta and take bath in a holy river or pond. If it is not possible then take bath at home by mixing Ganga water in water. After this, offer water to the Sun God and take a pledge to fast. Also, light a lamp near the main gate, temple and Tulsi plant in the evening. Lord Vishnu and Tulsi worship
After seeing the moon on Kartik Purnima, light a lamp in front of the idol of Lord Vishnu at home and offer yellow flowers at his feet. Then worship Tulsi Mata and offer water. Chant Vishnu Sahastranam or mantras of Lord Vishnu. After this, anoint Shivling with Ganga water and milk. Offer them Belpatra, Dhatura and white flowers and chant the mantra “Om Namah Shivay”.
