Assembly elections are to be held in Maharashtra on Wednesday i.e. today. Just a day before this, on Tuesday, a former IPS officer from Pune made a big allegation against NCP (SP) leader and Lok Sabha MP Supriya Sule and Maharashtra Congress President Nana Patole. The former IPS alleges that both the leaders embezzled Bitcoin in 2018 and that money is being used in this assembly elections.
After former IPS made allegations against Supriya Sule, BJP has made it a big issue.

BJP leader Sudhanshu Trivedi held a press conference on this issue and made serious allegations against MVA just before voting. He asked Congress whether he was involved in any Bitcoin transaction? Apart from this, BJP leader also accused Supriya Sule and Nana Patole.
Sudhanshu Trivedi said, “Very serious and worrying facts have come to light, which are slowly exposing the corruption of the MVA. This is a serious question on free and fair elections.”
BJP claimed that voice notes were exchanged between Nana Patole, Supriya Sule, Police Commissioner Amitabh Gupta and dealer Amitabh.
Showing printouts of WhatsApp chats, Sudhanshu Trivedi said, “These chats and notes show how Bitcoin transactions were being done by Supriya Sule and Nana Patole.”
Sudhanshu has raised five questions. He said, “If the five-fingered claw does not answer these five questions, then the people of the country can understand for whom this claw was working and what work it was doing. Now it seems that if it is truly capable of winning the elections. Even if there was some hope, the thought of obtaining money illegally in this way would not have occurred to them.”

Sudhanshu Trivedi further said that this is not a mere allegation. The people of Maharashtra should recognize them and how they do business. This is the party which was in power, when the Home Minister was accused of recovering Rs. 100 crores of money.
‘I will file a defamation case…’
After being accused by the Bharatiya Janata Party, Supriya Sulne said, “BJP is doing dirty politics. I will file a defamation case against Sudhanshu Trivedi. I do not know any such person. My voice has been fabricated. Pune Police’s I have filed a complaint regarding this.
Supriya Sule wrote a letter to EC
Supriya Sule has written a complaint letter to the Election Commission against these allegations. On behalf of Supriya Sule, her lawyer said in the letter, “A complaint of cyber fraud should be immediately filed against former Pune IPS officers Ravindranath Patil and Gaurav Mehta, who are spreading false information against Supriya Sule.
The lawyer wrote in the letter, ‘They are alleging that Bitcoin is being misused by Nana Patole and Supriya Sule for the purpose of distributing funds in the assembly elections. He also tried to create a fake voice of Supriya Sule to strengthen the allegations.

‘Allegations made to tarnish the image’
The letter reads, ‘This is a serious crime committed for the purpose of fraud and defamation, using digital mediums. These allegations are not only completely false, but are being made in a malicious attempt to defame and tarnish the image and reputation of Supriya Sule.
He said, ‘It is surprising that such allegations are being made just a night before the voting day in Maharashtra Assembly elections, which proves the intention behind these false allegations. We demand that an FIR be immediately registered under relevant provisions of law and a thorough investigation be conducted against such persons.
