An incident of rape of a student preparing for NEET exam has come to light in Kalyanpur, Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. Two teachers have committed this crime along with a student who had come to study in a major coaching institute here. The accused had kept him hostage in their flat for six months. In this case, based on the complaint of the victim, the police have registered a case against the accused under relevant sections of IPC and POCSO Act.
A police officer said that the victim is a resident of Fatehpur district. She was preparing for the medical entrance exam NEET in a leading coaching institute in Kalyanpur, Kanpur. She was staying in the hostel. In December 2022, Sahil Siddiqui, the teacher who taught him Biology, had invited him for a New Year party at his friend’s flat in Makdi-Kheda area. The accused had told the victim that other students of the coaching institute would also be present there.
Assistant Police Commissioner Abhishek Pandey said that when the victim student reached the flat, the accused teacher was alone there. He mixed intoxicants in cold drink and made him drink it. When she became unconscious, he made her a victim of his lust. During this time he also made a video of his misdeed. They blackmailed him through this video and kept him hostage in the flat for about six months. During this time he kept raping her repeatedly.

The accused threatened the victim that if she told anyone about this, he would kill her. Will upload his obscene video on social media. Meanwhile, one of his friends, chemistry teacher Vikas Porwal also reached the flat. He also raped the victim several times. After about six months, the victim’s mother reached Kanpur to meet her. Took it home. Here the accused uploaded its video on the internet and made it viral.
After this the victim’s family came to know about this incident. He took him to Kalyanpur police station. On the basis of their complaint, the police registered a case against both the teachers under Indian Penal Code sections 328 (causing hurt by poison etc. with intent to commit crime), 376 (2) (N) (repeated rape of a woman), 344 ( A case was registered under the Wrongful Confinement) and 506 (criminal intimidation) and POCSO Act and arrested.
