Accountants attacked anti corruption team in Barabanki, many injured, police engaged in investigation

A case of attack on anti corruption team by accountants has come to light in Barabanki, UP. In the attack, the complaining farmer was beaten and left bleeding. Four days ago, on the complaint of a farmer, the anti-corruption team had arrested two accountants and an accountant. The anti-corruption team had arrested the accountant red-handed while taking bribe from the tehsil premises. Once again the anti-corruption team had received a complaint of bribery of accountants. The anti-corruption team was keeping an eye on the accountants, then the case of attack by the accountants came to light. The complaining farmer was seriously injured in the attack. The anti-corruption team also got injured in this. The accountants also vandalized the vehicle of the anti-corruption team.

After this, the police reached the spot and saved the farmer and the anti-corruption team. After the incident, hundreds of accountants gathered at the police station. The accountants accused him of indecency. After receiving information about the incident, police forces from many police stations including Additional District Magistrate, Additional Superintendent of Police and CO are present. Inspector Virendra of the anti-corruption team and the farmer filed a complaint against the accountants, while the female accountant also filed a complaint against the anti-corruption team. At present the police has started investigating the matter. This whole matter is of Nawabganj tehsil complex of Kotwali city area.

Barabanki ASP Akhilesh Narayan Singh said that on 17th, the anti-corruption team Ayodhya had caught some accountants while trespassing and had registered a case. The anti-corruption team that came to investigate the case was misbehaved and pushed by 8 to 10 people. Somehow the team got themselves out safely. In this context, a complaint has been given by Virendra of Anti Corruption Team. Balwant, who was present there, complained that his companion was also beaten up by the accountant and revenue personnel. Along with this, a female revenue employee also filed a complaint that she too was misbehaved by the anti-corruption team. CCTV footage is being watched in this matter. The case is being investigated.
