US President Donald Trump probably did a month’s worth of work on his first day in the Oval Office right after his inauguration. Among the many sweeping executive orders he signed that will reshape the course of America’s future, the POTUS on Tuesday also announced that he will fire over 1,000 appointees from the administration of former President Joe Biden.
“Our first day in the White House is not over yet! My Presidential Personnel Office is actively in the process of identifying and removing over a thousand Presidential Appointees from the previous Administration, who are not aligned with our vision to Make America Great Again,” Trump said on TruthSocial.
The step is likely to reignite concerns that the president aims to replace Biden appointees with individuals faithful to his agenda.
