A resident of a residential school in Beed district of Maharashtra committed suicide. The teacher has also left a suicide note, in which he has accused six people of harassment. A police officer gave this information to a news agency. The officer said that the teacher on Saturday committed suicide by hanging himself from a roof in his house near a bank under the boundary of Shivajinagar police station in Beed district of Central Maharashtra, about 400 km from Mumbai.

The official said that the deceased has been identified as Dhananjay Nagargose. Nagargose used to work in a non-aasted ashram (residential) school in Kalalgaon area of Beed for the last 18 years. Police said that in a note posted on his Facebook account before committing suicide, the Nagargose said that he is taking this step due to harassment by six people associated with the school.

In Beed, Shivajinagar police have currently filed a report of accidental death. The official said that a case has not been registered against anyone yet, but if any complaint is received regarding the death of the teacher, then the police will take further action. The official said that after the post -mortem, the body has been handed over to the family members.
