A painful incident occurred on Monday evening in Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, where 30 -year -old constable Shivam Kumar died of a sudden shooting from the Insas rifle. According to the police, this may be a case of accident firing.
Constable Shivam Kumar was on duty on Kant Road at the residence of IG West Zone PAC. Civil Lines Police Station Incharge Manish Saxena said that as soon as he heard the sound of bullets, officers and policemen reached the spot, where they found Shivam lying in blood. He died on the spot.
Who was Shivam Kumar?
Shivam was a constable of the 2019 batch. He was a resident of Bijnor district, he was unmarried. According to fellow policemen, he was always happy. Police said that the forensic team is currently investigating the case. Meanwhile, IPS officer Ashutosh Kumar is posted at PAC Headquarters, he is also taking additional charge of Western Zone PAC IG.

The police is considering this incident accidentally firing, but the whole situation will be clear only after the forensic report. Fellow policemen and families are in deep shock due to this incident.
SP City Ranvijay Singh said that at 6:00 pm, Civil Lines had received information that IG sir was shot in the head of the constable and has died. Sampling has been done in it and the body has been sent for postmortem. It is being questioned. Prima facie it seems that due to accidental fire, there is a death, it is being investigated, legal action will be taken.
