An encounter between security forces and terrorists started on Thursday in Kishtwar in Jammu and Kashmir, during which 2 terrorists were killed. Sandeep Pandurang, a military worker from Maharashtra, was martyred in the encounter. On Thursday, a tribute was paid to the army soldier who was martyred in Jammu. 2 other injured army personnel are undergoing treatment in a military hospital. Many terrorists are still absconding. Army operation is still going on.
According to sources, 3 to 4 terrorists are hiding in the forest of Chhatru. Teams of Para Commandos of Army, Special Operations Group (SOG) of Jammu and Kashmir Police and CRPF are conducting search operations. Terrorists are now divided into two groups. The search continues in the villages of Chunaru and Begpora villages of Chhatru. Both villages are just 3 kilometers away.

Lashkar terrorists were killed in the past
On April 13, three Lashkar-e-Taiba militants were also killed in Jinpathar Keller area of Shopian. Two of the three terrorists killed were identified as Shahid Kutte and Adnan Shafi, residents of Shopian.
