Newborn’s body found buried under the bridge
A painful case has come to light in Seraikela-Kharsawan of Jharkhand. On Saturday, the body of the newborn was stirred up under the new bridge of the railway adjacent to Ram Madaiya Basti of Adityapur police station area. After the body was buried in the ground, someone also placed a huge stone on it. After the incident was reported, the body was duly taken out of the ground on Sunday and sent for postmortem.
In this action, Gamharia Zonal Officer cum Magistrate Arvind Kumar Bedia and Adityapur police station in -charge Vinod Tirkey were present. The market of discussions in the surrounding area was heated due to the news of the dead body being found on Saturday. According to the local people, it is feared that someone may have threw it brutally after the birth of the newborn.
The police took over the body and excavated it under the supervision of the magistrate on Sunday. At present, the police is investigating the case. The identity of the infant and the reasons behind the incident is being investigated. Local people are hurt by such inhuman incident in the society and are demanding strict action against the culprits. Station in -charge Vinod Tirkey appealed to the people and said that if anyone has any information related to this matter, he should inform the police so that the culprits can be caught as soon as possible.
