New Aadhaar App coming, will get unique feature, this process will be changed

The Aadhaar card -making agency Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) is now bringing a new app. The information of this app has been given by Bhuvaneshar Kumar, CEO of UIDAI itself. He has told about the progress of this app and its features. Also, he has also told the process of updating the mobile number.

UIDAI CEO Bhuvaneshar Kumar told in a conversation with Indiatude that the new Aadhaar app is ready, which will be launched soon. Referring to the launching timeline, he said that the new Aadhaar app will be launched within 2-3 months. Testing has been completed with the new Aadhaar app. Its demo has been completed.

The CEO of UIDAI said that the feature of identity sharing will be available inside this new app. These details will be shared after the permission of Aadhaar card holders. Till now people have to go with photocopies to share Aadhaar related details etc. After the new app, this work will be done digitally.

Mobile number will not be able to update

Bhuvneshwar Kumar said that it is easy to change the mobile number linked to Aadhaar, but it is also a sensitive matter. To update the new mobile number on Aadhaar card, it will be necessary to go to Aadhaar centers. The first biometric authentication will have to be completed at the centers, only then you will be able to update the mobile number.

Easy to identify fake Aadhaar card

Regarding fake Aadhaar card, Bhuvneshwar Kumar said that a special feature is available to identify fake Aadhaar card. A QR Code is found above all Aadhaar cards, which can be scanned and reached the correct information of the Aadhaar card.
