US President Donald Trump has imposed a huge fee of H-1B visa. The new fee has been fixed at $ 1,00,000 i.e. 88 lakh rupees. White House Press Secretary Caroline Lewit clarified, “This is not an annual fee, one-time fee and will only apply to new petitions.”
The USCIS (US Citizenship and Immigration Services) also clarified that the new rule will only apply to new, not yet filed petitions. This fee will not be applicable to already existing H-1B visa holders or people living abroad.
