Police has taken major action in the Dularchand Yadav murder case of Mokama. Patna Police has arrested former MLA and NDA candidate Anant Singh. Patna SSP team reached Kargil Market located in Barh, from where Anant Singh was taken into custody. The police have brought them to Patna from the flood.
Earlier, information had come that Anant Singh, who was made an accused in the Dularchand Yadav murder case, may soon surrender before the police. After this information, the police team led by Patna SSP reached Anant Singh’s house.

Patna SSP Kartik K Sharma said that after preliminary investigation in the Dularchand Yadav murder case, JDU candidate Anant Singh has been arrested. Along with him, two associates – Manikant Thakur and Ranjit Ram – have also been arrested. According to the police, there was a clash between two parties in Tartar area of Mokama on October 30, after which the body of Dularchand Yadav was recovered. Both the parties had lodged FIR.
The SSP said that during investigation it became clear that Anant Singh was present at the spot along with his associates at the time of the incident and the code of conduct was violated. In the post-mortem report, injuries and bullet marks have been found on the body, which confirms murder. Police say that raids are going on to arrest more people in this case. Anant Singh has been made the main accused and all three will be presented in the court.

CID took over the responsibility of investigation
After the murder of Dularchand Yadav, the investigation of the case has intensified. CID of Bihar Police has taken charge of this case. CID DIG Jayant Kant himself reached the spot. Several police teams reached Mokama on Saturday to investigate.
Police also took samples of stones
During the investigation, the FSL team also reached the spot at Basavan Chak. Many important evidences were collected from here. Evidence has also been collected from the vehicles which were damaged during the incident. Samples of stones have also been taken from the area of Mokama Tall. These are said to be the same stones with which Anant Singh’s convoy was attacked. The special thing is that these stones are used on railway tracks and are not usually found in Mokama Tall. Because of this, the police suspect advance planning.

Election Commission asked for report from DGP
The Election Commission on Friday sought a report from the DGP of Bihar on the murder of a Jan Suraj Party supporter in Mokama. Tension has increased in the area after this murder. Officials have given this information. The situation has become extremely tense after the murder of Jan Suraj Party supporter Dularchand Yadav in Mokama before the assembly elections.
RJD candidate Veena Devi’s car was also pelted with stones on Friday. The Election Commission has asked the DGP to submit a detailed report as soon as possible. Voting is to be held in two phases in Bihar on 6th and 11th November, while the counting of votes will take place on 14th November.
