A Casting Choice That Almost Changed ‘Shararat’ Choreographed by Vijay Ganguly, ‘Shararat’ features Ayesha Khan and Krystle D’Souza and has gained immense popularity across platforms. The song’s viral appeal recently peaked when international pop star Nick Jonas was spotted grooving to it, leaving social media buzzing. However, what many didn’t know is that Tamannaah Bhatia was originally envisioned for the song.

Why Aditya Dhar Said No to Tamannaah? In a candid conversation with Filmygyan, Vijay Ganguly revealed that while Tamannaah was his first choice, director Aditya Dhar had a very different vision for the track. “In my head, she was (the one). I had suggested her, but Aditya was very clear that he did not want what people call an item song, something that went out of the story. If it were just about one girl, it would have taken attention away from the story,” said Ganguly.
