YouTuber Shadab Jakati, who is active on social media in Meerut, was arrested by Incholi police station. However, later he got bail. He is accused of making obscene content by using a girl in his video. After this video went viral, social activist Rahul had complained about this matter to the police, on the basis of which action was taken.
The matter reached the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights, where a formal complaint was filed against Jakati. The Commission instructed the police to take necessary action. After this, a case was registered against Shadab Jakati under BNSS 170 (formerly Section 151) at Incholi police station in Meerut. After the case was registered, the police arrested him. Then after some time he got bail.

In the viral video, Shadab Jakati was seen posing as a shopkeeper in a store. Questions were raised regarding his comments and presentation with the girl in the same video. It is alleged that in the video the girl was made to act in a way which was considered obscene and inappropriate.
Jakati got bail when he was produced in the court after his arrest. After getting bail, while talking to the media, he said that he had no evil intentions and had only praised the girl in the video. He said that all he had said in the video was that the girl was very cute and beautiful and her mother would also be equally beautiful.

Jakati also said that he had posted the video after thinking, but later deleted it. He also admitted that if the video has hurt anyone’s heart or caused any kind of trouble, then he apologizes. He said that he does not even know which section has been imposed on him.
Here, the police is continuing further investigation of the case. The complainant says that strict action should be taken against any kind of misuse of girls. The matter is currently under discussion and there are continuous reactions on it on social media also.
