47-year-old Mohammad Jameel, resident of Risod in Washim district of Maharashtra, appeared for the 10th class examination again after 31 years. Jameel, who used to work as a bed maker, had earlier failed in English, Marathi and Mathematics. Inspired by his sons’ education, he took the examination again and expressed his desire to continue his studies further.

It is said that there is no age limit for studies and if a person is determined then he can definitely achieve his destination. One such inspiring story has come to light from Washim district of Maharashtra, where a middle-aged man appeared for the 10th examination again at the age of 47.
Mohammad Jameel, resident of Risod town of Washim district, surprised his acquaintances by appearing in the 10th class examination at the age of 47. Mohammad Jameel, who works as a mattress maker by profession, had given the 10th class examination about 31 years ago. At that time he had failed in English, Marathi and Mathematics papers. Angered by this failure, he left his studies and started making thrones.

Time passed and his relationship with studies was completely broken. But after 31 years, the desire to pass 10th class once again arose in his mind. After this he decided to appear for the same subjects in which he had failed earlier. He re-appeared in English, Marathi and Mathematics papers.
Mohammad Jameel has three sons. His elder son is studying in the first year of engineering in Pune. The second son is preparing for NEET, while the younger son will be going to class 10th in the coming session. Mohammad Jameel told Aaj Tak over phone that his son is studying well. He felt that someone might tell his sons that their father was less educated. This thought inspired him to appear for the 10th class examination again after 31 years.
Wife and acquaintances encouraged him
He told that his family and acquaintances encouraged him. Especially his wife encouraged him for studies. Now after passing 10th, he wishes to continue his studies further.
