Allahabad High Court strict in Sambhal Namaz case, instructions given to make security arrangements

Allahabad High Court has given several important instructions while hearing the administrative order limiting the number of worshipers in a mosque in Sambhal district. The court said that adequate security arrangements should be ensured during Namaz.

Allahabad High Court has given important instructions while hearing the administrative order limiting the number of worshipers in a mosque in Sambhal district of Uttar Pradesh. The court said that security arrangements should be ensured during Namaz. Also, if anyone creates obstruction during this period, legal action should be taken against him.

The petition in this case was filed on behalf of Sambhal resident Munajir Khan. In which the order of the district administration was challenged, in which instructions were given to limit the number of people offering namaz in the mosque.

The case was heard by the division bench of Justice Atul Sridharan and Justice Siddharth Nandan. During the hearing, the High Court directed that adequate security arrangements should be made during the Namaz.

The court has also asked to take action against those causing disruption. The order of District Administration Sambhal to limit the number of Namazis has also been cancelled.

Government’s responsibility to maintain law and order

Earlier, during the last hearing, the High Court had made strong remarks on the attitude of the administration. The court had said that it is the responsibility of the government to maintain law and order in all circumstances.
