As part of a conspiracy, the wife who had come to her maternal home on Holi was called to the field and beaten to death with a stick. A heart-wrenching incident has come to light from Amethi district of Uttar Pradesh, where a wife found it difficult to oppose the conversation between her husband and his girlfriend. Due to this dispute the husband killed his own wife. The police have arrested the accused and sent him to jail and legal action has been initiated in the case.
The whole matter is of Digur Hridayshah village of Gauriganj police station area. Rekha, who lives here, was married to Mansharam, a resident of Bhalesultan, many years ago. It is being told that Mansharam was in constant touch with his girlfriend and kept talking to her. Wife Rekha opposed this and forbade him from doing so. There used to be disputes between the two regarding this matter.

This dispute increased on the occasion of Holi and Rekha got angry and went to her maternal home. After this, as part of a conspiracy, the accused husband called her to meet her in the field on March 16. As soon as Rekha reached the field, the accused hit her on the head with a stick and killed her.
After the murder, the accused husband fled from the spot leaving the body in the wheat field. After the incident, a case was registered against unknown persons on March 16 on the complaint of the deceased’s father. The police took the matter seriously and started investigation.
The investigation was intensified under Operation Chakravyuh being run by the Superintendent of Police. Meanwhile, the police got an important clue when a challan was issued for the bike of the accused on the night of the incident. On the basis of this information the police was successful in reaching the accused.

After this, the police arrested the accused husband and exposed the entire matter. Additional Superintendent of Police Gyanendra Kumar Singh said that the dead body of the married woman was found in the field on the 16th, after which several teams were deployed for investigation. On the basis of evidence, the accused husband has been arrested and sent to jail. Police say that further legal action is underway in the case and all aspects are being investigated.
