BJP National President Nitin Nabin arrived in Bhubaneswar on Sunday as part of his two-day tour of Odisha. He was accorded a grand welcome at Bhubaneswar Airport by BJP leaders and workers.
Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, , Deputy Chief Ministers K.V. Singhdeo and Prabhati Parida, along with MP and BJP National Vice-president Baijayant Panda, MPs Aparajita Sarangi, Dilip Ray, state ministers, and several MLAs, greeted him with floral tributes.
Following the airport reception, Nitin Nabin spent the night at the Rajya Atithi Bhavan.
As per his official schedule, Nitin Nabin will participate in a core committee meeting at the BJP state office today. Later, he is scheduled to inaugurate and deliver the inaugural address at the district-level Pandit Deendayal Training Mahabhiyan-2026 camp organized by the Bhubaneswar organizational district at the Asian Institute of Physical Health University campus in Jatni.
In the afternoon, Nitin Nabin will visit Puri, offer prayers at Lord Jagannath’s temple, and partake in the Mahaprasad. He will then return to Bhubaneswar to hold discussions with state officials, Morcha chairpersons, and members of the council of ministers at the state office.
As the BJP government in Odisha completes two years, Nitin Nabin’s visit holds significant political importance. This marks his first Odisha tour since taking charge as National President three and a half months ago, generating enthusiasm among party leaders and workers.
Party Leaders React Ekamra Bhubaneswar MLA Babu Singh said, “During his visit, Nitin Nabin is scheduled to attend multiple programmes. He will hold several meetings with party leaders, MLAs and MPs. His visit will boost the morale of party members and encourage them to work harder.”
